Have you ever been called ugly..?

ive only been called ugly by girls, but i take that as a complement.

People tell me i'm pretty a lot, but I think it's all bull. I don't put a lot of effort into my appearance, no make up, cute clothes(i'm a tomboy) but it feels even better to be called pretty because of it : )

Actually no! I think it's because people who really want to hurt you, go for things about you that are true, like, they'll say you're fat if you really are, or stupid if it's true, and so on. That's a truly vicious kind of insult. For some reason, my husband says he was called ugly all the time, as a teenager and throughout adulthood, though he's incredibly handsome! I think when people do THAT, it's just envy.

Yeah, once this like kid that was 4 years younger than me said that I looked like a rat and my eyes were too far apart.

That's really the only time I've been told I was ugly, though. And he said it after I told him he was a jackass for being mean to my friend.

I heard that comment most of my high school days, by both boys and girls. It took YEARS to get over feeling ugly.

By my dad I have. He's just a jerk. But sometimes, just walking down the street, people will tell me that I'm pretty. In fact, that just happened today with some middle schoolers.
