Hi! I am part Native American, being 1/3 Apache, ( the others being White and Indian), and I was wondering if I would be accepted among them even though being part white, and how white people treated them? I don't want to seem like the run of the mill person who says they're part Native American either. I'm trying to get in touch with all three parts of my heritage, and was just wondering how I'd be looked upon. :) I do have blonde hair that I got from my dad, but my mom is Indian and Native American.

I can't tell you how they would since I can only view it from my outside position...
However... I would look online to see if there are any (legitimate--beware of fakes) message boards online for Apache people (or Native in general with Apache members) and talk to them. What I've seen...Some people are understandably touchy, though there are others that don't mind helping you learn a thing or two about the background if you are open to listening, putting to rest any old stereotypes you may come in with, and respecting the boundaries of things that you don't have a place in since you did not grow up in it.
But that's just my perspective...
Edit... I believe you are 1/4 Native...not 1/3...
Divide father's Scottish line...you get half Scottish...
Divide mom's two halves of Native and Indian... you get 1/4 of each.

I think if you approached it as interest in the background for ancestral reasons and not as wanting to be totally accepted as part of the culture, you would probably do ok and find those willing to help. Start by learning something about the actual Native Americans in your ancestry and then search for connections in the areas where they lived.

I look white also, but my people have accepted me, even without registration. If you approach them with RESPECT and genuine curiosity, and a want to learn, im sure you will be fine.
