2. If all the satellites were to return to earth at once what would be their impact in terms of their weight and mass?

Hi. Only intentional impacts have happened. The total mass of all satellites hitting the Earth simultaneously, even if they were all headed in the same direction (they are not) would be insignificant. Unless one landed on YOU.

There have been no accidental collisions. Orbits are monitored and controlled from numerous ground controls. NORAD (North American Air Defense Command) also monitors all orbits. Most of the science community around the world has a line of communication so everyone knows where everything is.
If all of the orbiting craft were to fall to Earth at the same time only a small fraction would actually hit the ground. Most of them would be burn up coming through the atmosphere. The fraction of a percentage that would hit the ground would do minimal damage, unless hit actually hit someone. The odds of that happening are also extremely small as land covers only one third of the earth. The other two thirds is water so it might make a big splash.

1) Yes
2) There would be a hail of bolts and metal across the globe, and many of the satellites would burn up before they fall to the ground; there would be a lot of dust falling then.

1)No, all satelites are different in weight so they fly at different height.

2)People and fishes will be killed.
