About 2 hours ago none of my main programs were working and i got security warnings from norton saying i had a serious virus threat(trojan horse) I ran a full system scan. It detected it then said it could not be fixed. It says it is in the quarentine folder. I logged on a couple hours later(now) and everything is working fine. Is my computer okay?

Nortons, is only good for slick marketing slick marketing skills for years. Fails to perform, and is a hugh resource hog.

If you logged on two hours ago and your computer is working fine, I would run another scan just to be sure that the virus was found and in the quarentine folder.

Well,
according to Norton, no.
according to me, not really./maybe.
don't trust Norton. It doesn't work and hogs all of your memory.
If you have 2GB of RAM, it'll leave you with 512 MB. (im exaggerating, but something like that)
okay, you should run a internetal virus scanner.
Go to www.mcafee.com or www.kaspersky.com
and use their virus scanner.
It'll install on your computer and run a scan.
After, it'll report to you and then it'll self-detruct (i think. haven't done this in a while)

Since the offending is in quarantine, it will not affect your computer. Since it can't be fixed, choose the option to delete it instead.
