Truck Bed liner coats?

I think that I am going to put a Herculiner or something similar on my truck. The Herculiner comes with enough for 2 coats on a 6 foot bed. Should I spend the extra 30$ for enough for another coat?

I would get the extra just in case you need, ya never know if you do need it or not.

It might not go on very well.
Globs, runs, smears, peeling,....

Find something else you may want to cover with the leftovers like car ramps, tool box, work boots.....
