Next to it (left) is Luxor, which is not bad . It is a 4 star hotel casino complex. I wouldnt recommend Excalibur if you did not have kids, but their prices are the cheapest in that nice area of the strip. Tropicana , which is old and not so terribly clean , charges a lot more, but is adult oriented and had some great food. NewYork and MGM - also nice.

the luxor and excalibur are pretty much connected to the mandalay bay.. the tropicana is right there.. but the main thing is to check the dates you want to come.. that is the big difference in the price of rooms..

The Tropicana is probably the closest "cheap" hotel. I stay there every time because you don't end up spending that much time IN the room anyway...

Definately the Luxor and if you do stay there (you will enjoy it!) stay in the Tower rooms. They have a beautiful marble tub and seperate glass enclosed shower. They also have a fabalous buffet-the best I've ever had!!
