Like drop them in the pot and take of running til the grease calms down? They turned out good though.

I wear an apron. But other than that nothing special. Helps to have a deep pot and fill it only 1/2 way. I typically have baked fries (ore ida), but a few times a year, I break down and have the old-fashioned fried!! wonderfood!

I'm the same way drop and run..then go back and drop the deep-fryer put the basket down close the lid and wait and they do come out good!!! B-4 I had a deep-fryer, still did the same thing Drop & Run!!! lol!!!

fries are NOT safe...back at my old crib, the guy a building over fell asleep cookin' fries and burnt that sh*t down.......i fall asleep cooking hot dogs

I don't get scared, I usually get burned! :-))
Now I buy the frozen ones at the grocery store, and heat them in the oven!

no, i put them in before the grease gets too hot. that way that doesnt happen. glad you didnt get burned though. good luck.
