Drunk drivers kill people - and usually not themselves, but others. She laughed at our justice system when she kept driving with a suspended license. I hope this will send a message to the likes of Lindsey Lohan and other spoiled (and even underaged) "stars."

Judge Sauer is a piece of ****. He has tried for twenty years to make a name for himself but is still stuck in traffic court, the only way he could make a name for himself is to be hard on Miss Hilton. Even the sheriff has stated that Miss Hilton"s crime, done by someone would have gotten no jail time and the only reason Paris got time is because of who she is. It say alot about our society that we would rather give limited bed space to Paris and let out a violent crimial. I do not think the rich and famous should get breaks, but, I also do not think they should be given harder sentences because they are famous. As for the people's outrage over Miss Hilton, where was their outrage over Rush Limbaugh, or over Dan Burton 's son, or Willie Nelson, or Nicole Bush.

Yes! Her parents need to be in jail too for not raising their daughter. What a selfish, spoiled, uncouth, rotten person she is! She thought she could buy a judge! He should have given her 45 years so we don't have to see or hear about/from her anymore! She contributes nothing to society! Her family should be sentenced to 100 years in prison or banished to an island so we don't have to see ANY of these people anymore. The judge should be given a ticker-tape parade or run for president since he clearly has more sense than Bush! There are more important things going on in this world-the war, poverty, terrorism that we should be focusing on instead of this dimwit!

Nope the spoiled little cow deserves it. I cannot stand her she has had a life of privledge and everything and has earned none of it. She deserves everything she gets and more. I hope she gets regular beatings so she wakes up and sees what the real world is like. I dont hate rich people but her and her kind piss me off when they have everything and think they have the right to do what they want. She is only going for 45 days and its acting like its life. She does not deserve to get out of this in fact if it was life i dont think humanity would miss that useless specimen. She goes on about her fans? How can she have fans she does nothing. GRRRR:@

There are three people in our office. All three will vote for Judge Sauer if he wants to run for president. Finally a judge working for the people!!

Though, I agree, just want to play devil's advocate here...

I think a lot of the public wants to see her do time because of her privileges rather than her crime (admittedly, not a light crime). A bit perverse, but then her behaviour doesn't actually deter it. Not surprised that a rich, white girl could worm her way out...for a second.

No you're not. I happen to believe that too. Bet I'm not the only one to give you this sort of answer either.

If i ever drive in LA I sure as heck am NOT going to speed, jump a red light or cut someone off. I wouldn't fancy facing that judge.

a fine, upstanding judge. If I lived in that district, I'd vote for him in the coming elections, and, I'd vote for whomever is running against that sheriff!
Too bad her parents were too busy to see what a little brat they were raising.

It's about time. He should also lock up the sheriff who released her in the first place, in direct defiance of what the judge ordered.
