a little late, Newt - hope the GOP listens to you.

He has roundly criticized the Bush administration in recent interviews, describing the White House as dysfunctional and saying the president has driven the party into collapse. While he refrained from direct criticism Friday, he cited failures in Iraq, border security and the response to Hurricane Katrina as signs of a broken government.

Of course he is right. But beware of a wolf in sheep's clothing. Newt is a neocon and may just be pandering to voters who don't like Bush (which is most people) to get votes in his bid for the presidency. When he looses we'll see what he says about Bush and his presidency. He sure supported the heck out of Bush when he was in Congress.

Yeah. Newt came up with the Contract with America theme. He's an interesting chap.

I think his Mars mission philosophy would be well spent on finding a full-sized SUV that can travel 1000 miles on a cheap, renewable energy source that results in Zereo Emissions.

Of course, that would do the best good. And who knows? That technology would likely be applied to a Mars mission too.

Run Newt. Run with the wind!

I just read that too.

It's funny how everyone around Bush is saying what a horrible job he's been doing, and yet, nearly all the Repubs/cons on Q&A defend him tooth and nail.

Gee, I wonder who's right and who's mistaken..

don't be to proud of him. If he were more of a man, he would have been saying this 5 or 6 years ago. The only reason he is doing it now is because most of the other Republicans are too.

It's a prelude to announcing his running in 08'. Just what we need, another contract on America.
