I have a problem with my pump and all my pool store wants to do is charge me. Isn't there an answer guy that isn't looking to sell me something?

Try the web site for the pump manufacturer they may have a trouble shooting section, with the little information you gave I can't be much help other than that. Good luck

I moderate the Yahoo group "Pooltalk", and may be able to help. I have been in the pool industry for over 15 years and have worked on hundreds of pumps, filters and cleaners over the years. (But I'm not currently selling anything, so no need to worry about that...) Perhaps I can be of assistance. Feel free to post any questions through the group.

Talk to an independent pump repair person. I have one I just adore. He also maintains our well pumps...... He's kept one pump going for 30 years. Realize if they have to take a pump apart, it's on their time so they will charge you.

Whats it doing?

I'm not a pool man, but I've been around pumps all my life.

You can email me.
