Of course you can. I went to a party Saturday and felt like that all day. It wasn't that people ignored me but I just didn't seem to fit. SO I sat by my self most of the time just watching.
When you're feeling lonely just find something to keep yourself entertained like I did watching people

Yes a person can feel lonely in a room full of people. There is a difference between being alone and feeling alone. A person can be alone in a room or house or live alone and not feel lonely or be with people and still feel lonely. It's just a matter of being ! I have a friend who said she felt lonely the most when her husband was talking divorce and they lived together still but when they divorced and she lived alone she said she didn't feel lonely anymore.

Yes,sure one can feel lonely even in a room full of people. As is said above by all, it is state of mind, if u have some grudges or few grievances in mind and/or caught in a group whose liking don't match with you, it is likely.

Clear your mind, come out of bad feelings, if any, start conversation atleast with the person next to you and you will be out of loneliness. Hope this works, Best wishes !!

Of course. Especially if it's a group of people where I don't really know anyone. I can usually start a conversation, but I'm not great at it on some occasions. In those situations, I have sometimes felt more lonely than when i was completely by myself.

One can definitely fee lonely in a room full of people. It depends on the circumstance though. If you are confident about yourself sometimes it doesn't matter.

You sure can feel lonely in a room full of people......"been there, done that!" When you're alone with your thoughts, and no one is interacting with you, no one there seems to know that you're even alive......then YES, you are very lonely. That is not a place I want to go back to....Keep your chin up and God bless you. ♥

If you have the anxiety of being around people or if you are shy I guess it is possible. But I doubt I would personally feel lonely?
