well the new england patriots are gonna be the best and eventually the champs because randy moss and brady are getting along well and seem to be on the same page.

but these teams had really good drafts: my top eight

1. 49ers. Willis looks like a stud, and Staley was a smart pick. They improved their team more than any other team did with their first two picks.

2. Falcons. Blalock is a great value in the 2nd round, the smartest (highest wonderlic) and strongest (most bench reps) O-lineman in the draft. Chris Houston seems to have some flags on him, but he's also a very good deal in the 2nd round. Anderson is a solid pick.

3. Bills. First 3 picks are all very good and savvy. No disrespect to Adrian Peterson, but I bet that Lynch will turn out to be the best RB to come out of this draft. Lynch's skills are similar to Ladanian Tomlinson, but I don't think Lynch will ever be quite as dominant as Tomlinson. Posluszny not only has the hardest name to spell in the NFL, he's also a great 2nd round pick. Trent Edwards could be a great QB if he can stay healthy, I thought he was the clear #3 QB in this draft, so he is a great deal in the 3rd round.

4. New England. Got a solid prospect in Meriwether, and also got a litany of other players and picks in trades. These guys own other teams in the draft.

5. Cardinals. Brown isn't the exact guy they probably wanted, but still a solid pick. They got Branch and Breaston for less than they are worth. Though short, Buster Davis has solid instincts.

6. Jets. Pulled of a gutsy trade to get the best CB in the draft. These guys had the best draft in the league last year, and I have too much respect for them to doubt that the Revis trade will work out for them.

7. Raiders. Jamarcus was the reasonable choice, Zach Miller is a decent value pick, though I'm not too confident that he has star potential, and I think Michael Bush could turn out to be a stud. I'm not sure if I agree with a lot of their later round choices though.

8. Indy. These guys had the weirdest draft of any team, but I have a strong suspicion that these guys aren't completely crazy. They needed to do some sneaky drafting because their salary cap situation isn't pretty, and that's exactly what they did. They got some solid, workmanlike offensive players in the first round, and they got some EXCELLENT value defensive players in later rounds, especially Daymeion Hughes. Hughes may not have ideal speed, but his instincts are just about the best I've ever seen. He's aggressive, he reads QBs very well, and he has good hands, so you can count on him for a few interceptions. I think that as long as he has lots of safety help so he doesn't get beat deep all the time because of his poor speed, he can start for Indy right away since Indy's cover 2 system doesn't rely that much on dominant CBs. Quinn Pitcock and Michael Coe are also excellent value picks who will contribute right away.

It's downright difficult to say anyone but the Patriots, but you have to wonder about chemistry issues with the likes of Moss and Brady. The Bears are up there but they lost Thomas Jones and have become more one dimensional on offense. The Colts cannot possibly repeat because of defensive issues, the Chargers are Marty-less. It could be a handful of teams that could be the "best", but the best team will be the one with a lot of talent, no or few injuries, and a little bit of Lady Luck on their side

Probably the Pats, but hope its the 49ers!!

Hey, its not that unreasonable to say the 49ers anyways...had one of the best offseasons of any team, including a great draft. Defense has improved, Vernon Davis will be the best TE in the game, and Frank Gore is just a flatout beast. Oh, and Alex Smith isnt as bad as everyone thinks...he keeps improving.

The Patriots. They have Brady, Moss, a Genius coach and so many more good players. So, far it seems as if Brady and Moss are getting along. And that's a key factor in all of this. Those two have to get along in order for the team to go anywhere. They will continue to get along and win it all.
