I have glass tables in my home. I dust them at least twice every 2 days! They keep getting dust all over them. is there anything i could do to prevent dust from getting all over those glass tables. Or for at least it will hold them off for more time.

The dust is in your air and settles on everything, not just your glass tables.
Eliminate the dust and you resolve the problem.
If your windows are open, you will have dust coming in from outside.
If you have a forced air heating and cooling system, put in better (finer) filters. (They require more frequent filter changes.)

If your dust is getting worse then you may not be trapping it very good. Do you have a hepa filter on your vac. Do you have a good quality filter for your furnace? Do you dust with a dry cloth , try using a damp cloth and don't shake it out. When you empty the vac do it outside. Taking off your shoes at the door will help also. A lot of foot traffic on carpet will create a lot of dust.I have 18 grand kids most of them are here for some part of the day and that is a lot of foot traffic. Try dusting about a hour after vacuuming or the traffic dies down in the house and they wont be as dusty as fast. Vac your furniture and curtains these hold a lot of dust. They make a spray that you can buy at the grocery store it is new and i don't know what it is called. But it cuts down on the dust.

Yes- try finer filters, also put filters on the vent outlets, and make sure you vacuum the floor often so the central air doesn't pick it up and blow it all over the house. The dust is already in your house, and the A/C is just blowing it around. You may want to investigate why you have so much dust in your house. If you have inside dogs, they bring in a lot of dirt in their paws.
