Every time I feel just a little bit down, a bit out of sorts, when I get the Monday morning blues and can't stand the thought of going to bloody work, when I look out of the window and it's pissing down with rain, when I turn on the t.v. and there is nothing but Big F**ck*ng Brother on, when I read the papers and it starts with the number of twenty year old kids that have been blown to hamburger in Iraq and ends with the English team being whitewashed 903 nil at a sport we bloody invented, I just take a look at the photos of that vacuous, anorexic bimbo crying as she is dragged off to the sneezer to spend 45 days in an 8 x 6 cell with a sixteen stone lezzer called Bulldog - and do you know, it's as if the sun rises in front of me and a choir of angels starts singing about the place. How can anyone be depressed when there is such beautiful, near-perfect news like that in the world?

Hello,

(ANS) As a middle aged bloke I wouldn't call myself a fan of Paris Hilton, OK! she broke the traffic law but I think she is quite a vulnerable person despite all the media hype. I really feel for her, I think she's being treated in a dreadful & totally disgusting way. Just because she's young, pretty, has more money than she knows what too do with, I think the media are determined too make an example of her.

Nobody seems to be considering that she might have feelings, might have a problem in dealing with this entire process. Might be extremely frightened by events spiraling out of her control.

**I think the sentence is remarkably harsh & unforgiving towards her.

**OK! so she broke the law & she should have to take some minor punishment for that but she's NOT a bad person as far as I can see. What has see done to deserve such outright vilification?? I don't get it?? Please what about people using some intelligence, allowing her to serve her sentence at home seemed alot more appropriate & alot kinder too. After all its ONLY a darn traffic violation. The way she's being treated is as if she's committed 1st degree murder.

It is sadly comical ... She can easily afford to pay the fine so the court determined she needed to do the time.
She has 3 contempt of court issues - 2 for driving on a suspended license and one for failure to appear for rehab classes.
Any one else try pissing off the court 3 times like that after a DUI .. and see how much time you do ... probably 60 - 90 days AND the fine AND the rehab classes ... when you get out.

In a couple months it will all be forgotten and she'll be back to normal. Just a little hiccup. Everyone has their stories. She's smart enough to move on and I'm sure she will. Maybe she'll do a Winona and end up parodying herself on Saturday Night Live or something.

of course not!!!! How acan you say something so vile!!! the only crime she is guilty of is being born into money and that's why people are so jealous of her they find ways to bring her down! i mean so many other celebs have had the same issues with driving and have repeat offended but nothing has happened to them. Looka t Miss Lohan and George Michael!!! How baout Brandy, she was in an accident that resulted int he death of a young mother, how come she is still driving around and never went to jail? I don't think Paris deserved any of what she has gotten, she treid to follow rules, was told otherwise by lawyers and sheriff's department, now a jealous jugde trying to make it in politics has thown her back for longer!!! What, jsut to make senator some day!!! it's ridiculous!!!! I am ashamed of all of you! Don't get me wrong, she is supposed ot get some kind of punishment, but I think she has gotten worse than she deserves because of her status! And that, my friends, is discrimination at it's best!

Yeah...I got a sick pleasure out of seeing that. She's a spoiled brat, it's about time she learned her lesson. You break the law you have to take the consequences no matter how rich or famous you are.

Yes. I wish I could have seen her leaving the mansion in handcuffs and riding in the police car. She tried to just call in to the judge and he ordered her brought in. What a wimp.
