the only thing i have every changed is my graphics card is there a huge difference

Well, you can't really say "just", the problem with new computer parts is that, you have to make sure everything is compatible, otherwise it works like this:

fast speed part--(sends to)-->Slow speed part
The slower part cannot read the faster parts, data.
It takes along time for it to finally, convert it to data it can understand.

Basically what im saying, it's not a good idea to buy parts unless you are sure they will fit in with your existing parts

A fan, they aren't that difficult to replace, It's quite easy but unless you're good with hardware, you should get the nearest computer store to replace it. I don't think you will have to pay more than $100.

The piece is about 5 dollars, and all you need to do is open your computer up, unclip the old fan, and connect the new fan on.

Depend on the fan/sink, normally common sense plays a major part on how simple it is.
