Sam Brownback - nuts
Jim Gilmore - didn't even know he was running
Rudy Giuliani - socially liberal, economically hardcore conservative. Runs purely on 9/11. Doesn't seem electable.
Mike Huckabee - nuts
Duncan Hunter - completely whacko
John McCain - flip-flopper will say anything for votes
Ron Paul - probably the best (Republican) of the lot
Mitt Romney - nuts
Tom Tancredo - totally nuts
Fred Dalton Thompson - probably the best Repubs can do, but not the savior they think he is
Tommy Thompson - lame name, lame candidate
Newt Gingrich - asswipe

Joe Biden - got some good ideas
Hillary Clinton - needs to learn to admit when she's wrong
Chris Dodd - too boring
John Edwards - the next president of the USA, I hope
Mike Gravel - he's okay
Dennis Kucinich - good ideas
Barack Obama - too inexperienced
Bill Richardson - too boring
Al Gore - would be great if he'd run, but he won't

There are really only 7 canidates buddy. Fred Thomson, John McCain, Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Edwards.

Now i weigh them like this.
Republicans-
1.Mitt Romney.
2.Rudy Giuliani
3.Fred Thomson - didnt go to debates
4.John McCain - supports Amnesty

Democrats-
1.Barrack Obama
2.John Edwards - sounds dumb but cleaner than Hillary
3. Hillary Clinton - too much, blames things like a child and looks unpleasent

Because I've watched all the debates and done quite a bit of research, sure, I'll weigh in.

-- Republicans --

Sam Brownback - Few fries short of a happy meal. And kind of crazy to boot.

Jim Gilmore - Doesnt have a snowballs chance in hell, and also qualifies as out of his mind.

Rudy Giuliani - Fear-mongering, underqualified, and has some pretty idiotic ideas. Not stupid though.

Mike Huckabee - Weird. I cant quite pin him down. Seems like a nice guy in interviews, but says some pretty crazy things from time to time at the debates.

Duncan Hunter - Might as well drop out now. He doesnt have a prayer.

John McCain - Went from being a smart, respectable maverick to being a total loony. I wouldnt vote for him if you put a gun to my head.

Ron Paul - Smart man. Would make a good President, but I disagree with him on domestic policy too much to be able to support him at this point in time.

Mitt Romney - Total moron. Like a GOP version of John Kerry.

Tom Tancredo - Nice guy, but completely insane.

Fred Thompson - Not the sharpest tool in the shed, but seems to know where he stands.

Tommy Thompson - Looks like an idiot at the debates, but in town hall meetings is very passionate and well-informed on the issues. I disagree with him on many things, but a very nice guy.

Newt Gingrich - Crazy as a loon.

-- Democrats --

Joe Biden - Smart guy. I agree with roughly 50% of what he says.

Hillary Clinton - Calculating, ruthless political opportunist and top-notch vote-whore. Wouldnt vote for her if my life depended on it.

Chris Dodd - Winner of the Golden Leash award and brings nothing worth mentioning to the table. Enough said.

John Edwards - Dont really have an opinion either way. I doubt he'd be a bad President, but hes far from being the ideal choice. The large amounts of money comin at him make me suspicious though. We dont need another President bought by lobbyists.

Mike Gravel - Very smart, very impressive record, very well-thought out ideas. I'm supporting him as best I can.

Dennis Kucinich - As a person I like him very much. Hes too much of an idealist to be President though. And I think his calling is more in the legislative than in the executive.

Barack Obama - All show and no substance. Very good at getting people all worked up and pointing out flaws, but his ideas are very short-sighted and not what we need.

Bill Richardson - Perfect example of a "resume candidate". Hed make a good President, but hes got to get over looking so confused at the debates. I could vote for him, but hes nowhere near being my first choice.

Al Gore - Propagandist and opportunist. Dont like him at all. Likes to preach too much and obviously loves being treated like the Messiah.

I'm from Pennsylvania and am registered as a Democrat.

I really like Richardson, I hope that after the "Star Appeal" wears off of Barack and Hillary people will really see who the best qualified candidate is. He might evan be good for a Texas Republican he likes hunting, is from a southwest border state and owns cowboy hats.

Last time I checked , we were at war with the Taliban. Why should we let one of their cousins inti the White House?

This one happened 150 years ago but I think its still relevant because Mitt Romneys church pardoned a terrorist mass murderer of Americans and protected the 100 or so other Mormons involved from federal prosecution!

It was September 11, 1857. A wagon train of 160 settlers on their way to California was massacred by a bunch of Mormons dressed in Indian clothes. 17 children under the age of 8 were spared and lived to tell their story.
1st. They dressed as Indians but after five days they changed tactics.
2nd. Then they went a bit away ,dressed back into normal clothes and acted like the Rescue Party who had negotiated a deal with the"Indians".
3rd, Then confiscated all the guns as part of the deal for "saving" the travellers and Mormon dissidents( who were the reason for the attack in the first place).
4th. Took everybody off a mile or so and shot them all. 2 men got away but were eventually tracked down and killed a day or so later.
5th. Took the 17 children they had not killed back with them to Salt Lake City.
6th. Got away with it. After a publicized trial, with the childrens own testimony admitted into the court, only 1 man was convicted and shot, John D. Lee. ( pardoned by Church 1960)

It ended up being called the Mountain Meadows Massacre. The first time in U.S. history that U.S. citizens were massacred on U.S. soil by religious wackos. This event is even more significant because the total U.S. population at the time was much smaller.(I dont know the exact numbers, maybe only 30 million or so) In todays numbers it would be around 1400 dead

Personally, I think this is the BEST lineup of Candidates I've seen in my 50+ year lifetime. For ONCE- there's someone for EVERYONE... If you can't find someone to like in a mob like THIS- then you might as well throw way your voter registration card. I have NO IDEA who's going to get nominated (let alone- Elected). But it SURE is going to be a lot of FUN- seeing how it all turns out! So!- Let the Games begin!!! :)

Ron Paul is probably the second best candidate who has ever run for President (the best was Thomas Jefferson). Ron Paul is not perfect. I don't like his opposition to open borders. (Jefferson wasn't perfect either. He was a slave-owner.)

I could never vote for anybody who was ever stupid enough to vote for Bush's War. I really hate Al Gore, but at least he has been consistently against Bush's War, so I guess the best I can realistically hope for is President Gore in 2009. (But I'll vote Libertarian.)

I like Mike Huckabee because he is a born-again Christian and takes a stand for Christian values that so many liberals detest. But, I don't think he has enough charisma to be a President.

I too am a Texas Republican and I'm going for the man in the red truck!

Fred Thompson 2008
