Most likely a fuel related problem. Take it and have it checked out.

sound's like a fuel pump problem . gas price's are high and people tend to run their fuel tanks low on gas , to try to make your gas last a little longer , i'm guilty of this . this is not good for the fuel pump it use's the fuel to help keep the pump from getting to hot. if you do this to much it can cause fuel pump problems, and with the higher heat outside this does'nt help. so what i'm saying is have a technician check this out for you.good luck!

It could be what any of these other guys have said, but to me it sounds like a sensor is starting to go bad. My guess would be a map sensor and also probably a throttle positioning sensor. go to a mechanic and get them to check for thrown codes with a computer diagnostic checker. then again it could need a tune up but with the year of the vehicle i would say just a sensor going bad.
