Paris Hilton was sent screaming and crying back to jail Friday after a judge ruled that she must serve out her sentence behind bars rather than in the comfort of her Hollywood Hills home.

"It's not right!" shouted Hilton, who violated her probation in a reckless driving case. "Mom!" she cried out to her mother.

Hours earlier, the 26-year-old hotel heiress was taken handcuffed from her home in a black-and-white police car, paparazzi sprinting in pursuit and helicopters broadcasting live from above. She entered the courtroom disheveled and weeping, hair askew, without makeup, wearing a fuzzy gray sweat shirt over slacks.

She cried throughout the hearing, dabbing her eyes, and her body shook constantly. Several times she turned to her parents, seated behind her in the courtroom, and mouthed, "I love you."

It's about time someone brought this spoiled brat down to Earth, don't you think?

It makes me want to hurl. Her mother should have made her go out back and get a switch years ago. Say what you will about "child abuse" but Paris needs some sense knocked into her.

I agree with you; obviously, she overestimates her importance in the grand scheme of things. HOWEVER, that lesson is not likely to be assimilated by her in the near future since the media frenzy which has evolved about her in response to her jail sentence is clearly beyond control and will only serve to validate her probable belief in her self-importance. Clearly she deserves her confinement as she seems either to have imagined that she was above the law, or she was really too ignorant to understand that her driver's license had been revoked! So long as the public bestows adulation upon such questionable "idols" as Paris, Lindsey Lohan, and Britney Spears, they will not realize that they are laughable examples of modern society!

Im just flat out sick to death of Paris. Why can't she be more like Nikki....You hardly ever hear about Nikki...........Its sad that yesterday when the country should have been toasting a real accomplishment like the ducks winning the stanley cup that all we heard was Paris..Paris..Paris........I'd much rather hear about a talented team that used their blood sweat and tears to accomplishment something great like getting the first stanley cup of their franchise than some nitwit no talent heiress

Yes! Her mother needs to be in jail also for "raising" such a bimbo and reckless daughter. They both should be in jail. She tried to act above the law and is probably having a nervous breakdown right now! Poor baby! NOT! Let her get a harsh dose of reality!

No matter if we like it or not Paris Hilton is a roll model for 'tween age girls and she needs to realize that she broke the law and now she needs to be punished for her actions...These young female actresses/singers make me sick (I am only 27 and I know better then to ever act like that...)
Someday (or Currently for Britney) they are going to be mothers and have to face their children and explain to them why they thought it was okay for them to act like that....Maybe they will raise a bunch of Liza Minnelli's and Christina Crawford's

I know I'm going to get flamed for this, but I do feel a tiny bit of sympathy (only a tiny bit). Being told by the Sheriff's Department that you'd be able to serve the rest of your sentence under house arrest only to be hauled back to jail a day later, wouldn't you be upset? It's not like she violated the terms of her house arrest.

I agree, but I think she will act the same as soon as she gets out. It kinda makes you think....

If you acted like that and something bad happened that could take it all away, you'd feel bad for acting like a major bi*ch. Not her. Acting like a Bi*ch is what she does best. I respect that. Hey, if you get there who cares how you do it. (unless you disrespect you or your body)
