That depends on what you want!
Seafood- Andrea's (Ventura Harbor Villiage)
Sushi- Sakura (between Oak View and Ojai, definitely worth the drive, which is about 11 miles from downtown Ventura).
Mexican- El Taco de Mexico (on Telegraph just east of Main). This is a great place for lunch if you don't need a beer.

downtown Ventura = Cafe Fiore, Landmark 78, and Capriccios
Ventura harbor = Great Greek
mid town = Sidecar
sushi = Ozeki
