When did you actually called yourself an actor?

I mean for those who didn't start at an early age. Did you said your are an actor when you felt "the call" to acting or when you actually played a role?

I first called myself an actor when I realized that I couldn't do anything else with my life, and that my passion for theatre was too strong to do anything other than perform.

The first time I actually attended an audition, was cast in a role, went through a period of rehearsal, opened, and performed the role throughout a scheduled run...that was when I knew I was an actor.

a actor in most parts is extremely Poor, has no chance at "big stardom",, now with that said,,when can u call yourself 1... when you have to be a actor NOT when you want to be
