I feel like I am going to throw up and I get a belly ache. What can I do to not get nervous or not get sick. Thanks

I used to get this when I was younger and it used to get so serious that I would avoid going out anywhere unless there was a toilet nearby [so i could throw up if i needed to].
Suck mints, such as polos - this helps calm your stomach.
Peppermint tea or camomile tea could help just before school, or the nervous situation.
Drink plenty of water - if you're feeling sick, drink ice-cold water, if you have stomach pains, drink warm water.
Even if you don't feel ill/sick, drink water anyway.
Don't eat anything if you feel sick, it'll make you feel worse, but make sure you have a good breakfast in the morning.
If you're really worried about throwing up, carry a plastic bag with you in your schoolbag (make sure there's no holes in the bottom of the plastic bag) and a door nearby so you can rush out and be sick in the bag if you feel really ill.
When you feel ill though, just take deep breaths and control your breathing, don't even think about your stomach - you'll end up feeling worse if it stays in your mind.

Hope this helps =) xxx

The trick is to breath correctly. If you take slow & really deep breaths in, hold for a few seconds and breath out, it relaxes all of your muscles and your mind. If you focus your mind and listen to your breath as it enters and leaves your body, it is very soothing and you cannot think of anything else.
The technique I outlined is Yoga, you can get a beginners cd. Yoga teaches you how to cope at times like this.
The other aspect is perspective, things do sometimes go wrong, thats life, its never the end of the world. If something goes badly wrong for one of your family or friends I bet you just feel for them and want to make them feel better, well that is how they will feel toward you should the same thing happen.

It really depends on what makes you nervous, but assuming it's just a normal response for you no matter what situation you encounter, I would suggest that you have to practise for those situations that cause you to be mentally/physically unsettled

- - e.g., role play with family or friends, talk to yourself in a mirror several times before you face your audience, and/or purposely go out and place yourself into social situations that are nerve racking for you.

Practise makes perfect and as you grow more accustom to encountering those nerve-wracking situations, you'll stop being nervous and be more yourself.

A good therapist can help you find out the reason for your anxiety problems and teach you methods to reduce or eliminate your nervous stomach. There are also medications available to help you but you may not need them.

Some people are more sensitive to their emotions than others. There are some very good self-help methods for your problem also. One is called "biofeedback", a form of self-meditation. Another is hypnosis. There are a lot of books about relaxation you can buy, or find at the library, that can help you with your stomach problems.

if you put your hands on top of your head, you will not throw up. what I do when i get nervous is go somewhere by myself, and breathe. I also think about other people out there who are experiencing things MUCH worse than I am or am about to and it makes me feel ALOT better! good luck baby!

Maybe you have some sort of anxiety disorder... If you are really that upset about it you should go see a psychiatrist and explain exactly how you feel when put in those situations. I bet they could help you out a lot :-)
