Well laughing is better only if it's not fake. If crying is helping you to get rid of your problems, then its okay.

What is better ... hunger or thirst ? can you choose? Do you have any control over these? Think deeply . Do you ever give a chance for yourself to feel hunger or thirst? Routinely we eat and drink. Unlike the animals . They feel hunger. They feel thrist and then they go after it. We ? Strange animals!

Emotions like crying or laughing fall in the same category. You may not think so but it is. Do you first think "I want to cry" and then cry? Or laugh? These are spontaneous and there is nothing like this being better than the other. Laughing at someone else `s pain is as bad as crying helplessly. The creator has given both these emotional outlets for balancing the system.. Cry as much when needed and laugh as much when you feel like.

Depends on the situation. Both are human reactions that satisfy physical and emotional needs. Crying is not always a "bad" reaction, nor is laughing always a "good" reaction.

Rather than debate the virtues of each, go with the flow. Do what comes naturally.

They both are necessary to express, and release emotions. Unless your a robot. So laugh or cry to your hearts content.
A good laugh, and a good cry depending on the situation always makes you feel better.

Crying and laughing are two sides of the same coin .In life both are needed . In fact they come hand in hand . If you have cried all your life that means the days are not far for you to be happy and laughing. Reverse is also true. So laugh when you want to laugh ,cry when you want to cry .

Both are equally good. Depends on tendency of a person also what one uses most but both help in their own way. Crying helps in releasing pent up emotions which otherwise would cause complications later on.

Personally, crying releases all the stress that builds up. It's longlasting-at least up to 24 hrs. Laughing is only a momentary high that gets me so anxious I wind up crying.
I hope you were interested from a philosophical perspective (since that is the category), and not seeking advice. I wouldn't advise anyone to have to feel as awful as I do.

While crying can release stress and overloaded emotional wells, so can laughter! You release chemnicals in your body called endorphins when you belly laugh that lift your mood, lower your blood pressure, lower your stress level- and a side affect of a belly laugh is usually other people laugh too!

The best is whatever reflects what you are really feeling, keep it real. They are both necessary in life, and can both represent happiness or sadness.
