I would behae howeer I felt like at the time. She is just a human being too. I have been to jail 3 times (not a sentence just an overnight holding stay) and it sucks. If I got sentenced to 45 days, I might be kicking and screaming to but the only difference between her and me besides the obvious difference in money etc, is that my parents would not be supporting me and feeling bad for me. In other words, I could not cry to my parents because they would be happy that I'm learning a lesson. THat's was competent parents do. They hold their children accountable for their actions...especially dangerous ones. It's basically like she's thumbing her nose at the law and totally ignorant to the fact that she could have killed someone. My aunt was killed by a drunk driver and she is basically saying that it's no big deal to drive drunk. She needs to sit there in jail, pull all her extensions out, go makeup free, and learn a damn lesson...and if she doesn't want to eat the jail food because it's too nasty...then let her sit there and waste away...it's not like she'll look any different. I'm sick of this girl. Her parents are really to blame. They raised this wretched being to live in a fake world free from consequences. But even still..you don't see Nicki acting a fool...Paris should be more like her sister and growup. She is so boring...only being concerned with the superficial. She's the last person I'd want to spend time with. But at the same time she is a human being too and to say I hate her is childish!

You don't know and couldn't possibly know what you would do in her shoes, none of us do... but at this point, she should probably do the Martha Stewart thing, abide by the court orders and let those on the outside try to get her out, and if they are unable, start petitioning for a pardon... maybe Ah-nul will be willing to do it when he leaves office and expunge her record. As sad as it is, the Judge is clearly running for re-election or trying to get his own name in the spotlight, because even everyday citizens don't get put in jail for something like this... its not until they have 5-6 DWI's and kill someone do they get to see some jail time... there is a long list of celebrities that have had recent run-ins with the law, heck, Brandi killed someone and never saw a day, so although I'm not a Paris sychophant, her being in jail has more to do with being a celebrity and the Judge's political motives or aspirations. There was no reason she couldn't do three years probation, house arrest, or consider the days she has already spent in jail as time served... people say she is getting special treatment, but other than a separate cell away from the general population, I see the opposite happening.

I wouldn't wear her shoes. They're probably not only made of leather, but horrifically overpriced.
I might have gone for my mommy. I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm 30, married, and pregnant with our first child and still want my mommy. (I don't like being sick to begin with, yet, when I had a cold early on in my pregnancy, I wanted to call my mommy. The only thing that stopped me was not wanting to interrupt her at work. I think I called her that evening, though.)
I'm not stupid enough to drive drunk. I can't remember the last time I so much as had one beer and got behind the wheel of the car. (I'm talking real beer too. Nothing lite and nothing domestic; Good dark strong beer.)
Poor little rich girl gets to experience the real world.

I would star in my own unscripted reality TV show "Paris Hilton goes to Jail" In episode 1 "Paris fakes an illness" and in episode 2 "Paris screams it's not fair" when sent back to jail. Episode 3 "Paris meets her cell mate Big Bertha in Jail"
I would sell Paris shoes for the highest bidder because I wouldn't want to be in them.

I had no interest in this issue until the recent power struggle between the sheriff and the judge. Paris did wrong. I get it. But this judge is crazy. If I had her money I'd hire a private investigator to dig long and deep into this judge's past & present. There is always something. You don't just get nuts one day because somebody did not respect your athority. And then I'd quietly make sure that this judge and his private mistakes are made public. I'd ruin him.

Do my time and learn my lesson...although my time would probably be for 5x longer than 45 days since I don't have money to pay for any fancy lawyer.

She is not a celebrity........just a waste of life, this is the funniest story I've ever read. This is exactly what she needs.

If I were her I'd grow up and take the sentence quietly to at least set an example. She is mentally defective.

i'd suck it up and deal with it. i'd be thankful i didn't kill anyone, and thankful i was famous... the government seems to like to go easy on jail time for famous people.
