Other than a case, What is one thing your iPod could not live without?

one thing i could not live without is a portable wall/car charger and a battery operated charger. plus portable speakers and plastic screen protectors

Something to prevent it from going into "Disk Mode" every hour or so!
Barring that - proper headphones. Earbuds are painful, and make it rather difficult (and nasty) to share with your friends.
