I believe that she should serve out her sentence in prison but jail is a terrifying experience. No matter how spoiled she is, no matter how arrogant, I feel how much she is hurting and I don't want anyone to have to suffer. I only hope she is humbled by this experience and comes out on the other side a better person.

I can feel some compassion for her as a human being who is afraid and distraught, yes. But do I have any sympathy for her? No.

No, I don't have compassion for Paris. I DO feel sorry for her though. She broke the law over and over and took for granted that her fame and financial status would suffice, and therefore, she mistakenly thought she was above the law because she's "Paris." Well, it's about time she realizes that she is NOT above the law.

And frankly, let's be real. How did she THINK jail was going to be? One of the reasons it's so unpleasant is to deter people from coming back. It's not supposed to be comfortable. She desperately needs to learn a very valuable lesson and it's best for her to learn now since she is still very young: with responsibility comes accountability. She needs to take responsible for her actions and expect to be held accountable for them.

Every unlawful act has a consequence for those of us who can't buy our way out of it. It's time for the financially fortunate to understand that they are not above the law either.

Me too. I mean I don't feel bad for her at all really because she did the crime, now she's gotta do the time. But, I think the fact that they let her out of jail on house arrest and then sent her back in isn't really to right. I mean imagine thinking your getting out nice and easy then all of the sudden POOF then send yah right back in. So in a sense I do feel bad for her, but because she did the crime, no I really don't.

I feel sorry for her becasue she is the way that she is due to her parents. They allowed her to behave badly as a teen, and set terrible examples by partying and drinking themselves. She wasn't born behaving badly - she learned to behave this way from those closest to her.

Like you, I hope this is a learning experience.....sadly, I fear it will not be.

I just want her to learn something. People suffer all the time. I just want her to walk away from this knowing she should ever drive drunk again.

I think they should bring back the stocks and put her in them for 2 weeks in LA at 8th and Alameda.

I'd have had more respect for her if she'd simply gone in there and done her time, head held high, accepting the punishment for what she's done.

Yes, I do.

This was a lesser crime, it was committed out of negligence, and she may not be used to a prison's conditions (being a rich girl)...

May God help her...

I dont feel bad for her at all, my brother had the same problem and he had to do his time. Just because you have money doesn't mean you are transparent to the law.

Would you still feel that way if she crashed into you or a loved one while she was drinking and driving and caused you bodily harm or death?
