I would rather iron something than not. I think there's some clothes that look sloppy if you don't. My toddler has a few pair of jeans that are like cardboard if I don't iron them. I figure having a newborn too that I should iron the things that need to be ironed, that way I'll look presentable, even if there's baby spew on my shoulder!

Yes, i do still iron. I don't iron t-shirts, pillowcases or hankerchiefs but certain material does get wrinkled and I don't wear wrinkled clothes.

You are so right. I used to iron everything, even my softball t-shirts! I got out of the habit for a while and only recently decided it made me feel better to iron my clothing. It is a sign to myself I'm worth it, I care how I look. I also had quit taking the time to pick out a pair of earrings and decided about that same time to begin doing that again. It seems like small things and probably no one else will notice but I know and it makes me feel better and in the end that is what matters. If I feel better, I am better.

If it is too wrinkled I throw it in the dryer with a wet wash cloth. I use to iron all the stuff I wore for work, but then I had kids, with the lack of time pulse the dangers of the potential accidents I got ride of mine. Also a lot of cloths are wrinkle free.

I'm 24 and have to wear a shirt and tie everyday. At first i was real bummed about having to iron things on a daily basis. Now, I iron almost all of my clothes on the same day to get it out of the way, my fiances clothes, our sheets, everything from boxers to socks to shirts to bed skirts and more. It's amazing the good looks you get from just a little starch and how good it feels laying in a nice and pressed bed. Do my friends think I'm crazy? Yeah, but when you look good you feel good. I feel great.

I don't iron things like pillowcases and sheets, I still do iron my nicer clothes. Pants are very noticable if not ironed, and I would recomend anyone going to a professional environment (work, interview) to do so also.

I used to until I retired about a year and a half ago. I wanted to wear natural fibers, and that's mostly cotton. If you don't iron cotton, it looks perfectly awful. Since I was a legal secretary, I had to look "business neat." Hence, the iron.
But you know, it's not that awful. If you live in air conditioning, so that the heat is not at issue, it's actually rather pleasant. You are effectively caressing your clothes, and it's rather meditative. Since I made my own dresses, it was also massaging my ego: "you know, this really is a nice dress."
Of course now that I am retired, it's tee shirts and denim skirts that I do not bother to iron.

I still iron if it's needed. Most of the time however if I'm just going to work and am going to be covered in junk by the end of the day I don't care much. But yes, there are still active irons out there in the world, and my house wouldn't be complete with out one.

Most of my clothes don't need ironing but I do have two shirts that look much better ironed. The problem is, since I have to iron them, I don't wear them as often as I'd like.
