"Judge not, lest ye be judged."
I'm one of the few people on here who believes Paris Hilton was not served well by her attorneys when she plead no contest to the original charge.
They woefully underestimated that their client would continue her partying ways or that the public backlash.
We simply do not have all the facts here, folks. Paris may truly have a serious medical diagnosis of some kind that she does not want to see splashed in the media or the internet.
I saw the picture of her in the cruiser on the way to the court. This was not the Paris Hilton who is pictured in the society columns. If you look closely, you can see that there is clearly something wrong here.
Today, the lawyers were powerless. The judge had been listening to radio talk shows and was clearly motivated in his ruling by public opinion.
Paris has learned her lesson all right. I just hope she does not end up receiving a death sentence for a fairly minor offense either at her own hands or a publicity-seeking inmate.
Yes, the family should get new attorneys as well as new doctors.

There wasn't a lawyer in the land that could have gotten her out of blatantly violating probation.
Also with what happened today, the Judge said the first time around that Paris would serve time in jail, not house arrest, the Hilton family managed to lobby the county sheriff to go against the Judge's orders. Their was nothing any attorney could have done.
I think the Sheriff may be held in contempt of court for releasing her, which would be equally as funny.

I don't think any attorney could have done a better job, frankly.
I think the judge has determined, like the majority of public opinions, Paris should not receive special treatment, as she did by the Sheriff's department-

They probably will, but really no attorney could have helped her. She should be held accountable for her actions and stay in jail for the full term.

It is possible but the criminal law in this case is clean cut, so I am not sure whether someone else could do any better.
