my brother was arested on the 2nd of june, and still is, they got a serch warrant and they took his p.c. and a-lot of outher stuff , and on the 7nd they bring it back in the house wile no one was home, why did they bring it all back? is this procedure?

I'm not sure if I have the WHOLE picture because you don't say if they came into the house to return the PC or if they left it on the doorstep.

However, it would sound to me like some serious issues with pornography or theft by deception are the issue here.

I would also wonder if the entire PC was returned or all but the hard-drive!

Normally if property is seized a receipt or inventory showing the property was taken...and then a property release, showing the property was returned is the standard!

be glad they brought it back.

That means they won't be using THAT as evidence against him... and that it hasn't been forfeited as being part of the crime.

Them returning it while no one was home is unusual... they would normally call and have someone come pick it up.

they brought it back because what they were looking for was NOT on that computer. And they can't keep the item. Therefore, they returned it.
