The news said the latest Immigration Bill compromise is dead in the Senate, and was wondering what you people thought of that?

I'm happy this Bill is DOA. But we still need to do something sooner rather than later.
Our borders are still wide open , employers are still hiring illegal immigrants. And there is no end in sight to the countless number of illegal immigrants poring over our borders everyday.

Glad it happened, but if we had betting like UK would have lost my shirt betting that momentary political gain would have trumped with best policy. If you rewarded all the alien smugglers their business would have increased 100%. Not saying send them all back, but can't we have some to take take some of the hype out of smgglers pitches. Why don't we give green caeds to those that come foward and help identify smugglers.

Hell yes! That piece of crap legislation would give illegal immigrants more rights and privileges than most Americans. Not to mention those that are trying to get here legally. Illegals are criminals and should go to jail.
