Both teams deserved to play in the Finals of the World Cup. They earned the right to play there. I know what you may say about the whole head butt. That is a tough issue. Trash talking is a part of any game. There is a point or level that a person should go. Trying to take someone off their game, that is fine. If someone says something about a person's family, then that is were you draw the line. I use to play American Football and basketball. I always was saying things to the other team. Never about a family member. Was the Italian player right on what he said. No. Was Zidane right on doing what he did. No. If I was in Zidane situation, I most likely done the same thing.

Italy thoroughly deserved because they played like a team and their players always supported each other in tough moments.They were the only team who could beat Germany, and so they did.
France scored relatively few goals, but showed great solidarity and determination.
Both teams deserved to play the final; in the end, FORZA ITALIA!
