What is the fascination with a spoiled social debutante? Her temper tantrum in the courtroom was once again splashed all over the news reports. So many people claim to dislike her intensely, so why focus on her? Why the publicity on someone like that? She's not hot, she's not sexy, she's not intelligent...she's a pouty, self-absorbed biatch who happens to have a lot of money.

This is focused on so much because she committed a crime and is trying to get out of doing the time because she is rich and famous. Normal people commit a crime and in they go for their 45 days or whatever. I'm sure you would not like it if you had to do the time for the same crime and she didn't. I pay no attention to people like her normally but I have been following this and was outraged that she first got the sentence cut down and then serves 3 days and goes home to live in a mansion. Big lesson learned there. Boy will she be uncomfortable and put upon living there for 42 days.

It's the fact that she's making a mockery of the law. It's bad enough she's an irritating spoilt brat, but when you're driving drunk and on an suspended license, the mature thing to do is sit your stupid *** in jail and do your time, not whine like a retarded airhead.
She made her situation worse. Proves that money can't buy everything. Not class, not power and certainly not the law!

I think its more fascinating watching how the Justice system in California is making this into a huge mess...they look unprofessional and ridiculous......the Sheriff sends her home, the judge orders her back....does the right hand know what the left is doing?

I also wonder why we have to care about what any celebrity does. I get sick of hearing about every little thing famous people do.

of course people are jealous.
i'm jealous that she's done no work and gotten everything she's wanted.
but also people are outraged. it's unfair that they put her "above the law"
she thinks just because she's rich and famous, she's gonna get away with it.
i had some respect for her when she said she was gonna serve that time in jail and that she wanted to be treated like everyone else. but of course i should've expected this.
i really have lost my respect for her.
