I was conducting a religious service.
Doesn't matter which religion - but it was an extremely serious service - one of the most serious and solemn of the year - and I got the giggles.

Of all the times and places - I got the giggles - and over nothing.
Everybody had to stand for a couple of lines.
Then everybody sat.
All except three people in the front row.
They didn't realise that everyone behind them (and there was about 150 people) were sitting.

As I continued with the service I was trying to tell them to sit by using body language - such as nodding with my head at them.
This made one of them giggle - then one turned round and saw, put her hand over her mouth and went bright red.

That was it - I just couldn't hold it in.
I won't be asked back there again, I bet!

I live in Belfast. One day I was doing some shopping downtown and a bomb went off nearby. A lot of handicapped people got blown out of their wheelchairs. I am not trying to be funny, and I don't know why, maybe nerves but I was in fits of laughter. I helped them up, and I couldn't stop laughing for almost an hour. The laughinh hurt me more than the ringing in my ears from the explosion.

Edit - Oooops, I never seen yer selection, at a funeral.

It would have to be the giving someone very bad news. The funeral situation is pretty bad too.

I think giving someone very bad news , because they will think that you either:
1. Think that they're a loser
2. Happy that the bad thing happened
both will stop of hurt the friendship... LOL!!!

All of the above. But even before seeing your choices, funeral sprang to mind, so that has to be proper worst case scenario-fare.

tough question. probably pulled over by the police, because if you laugh at a cop you WILL get a ticket!

Funeral...imagine:

We mourn for ____, but hopefully they have gone to a better place...
Hahahahahahahahhahahahaha!!!

Not only would you feel bad about it later, but it's extremely disrespectful.

A Funeral....OMG!!! that would be horrifying...especially if people knew you didn't really like the person anyways.
