I watched Captain Kangaroo all of the time. I like Mr. Green Jeans also.

i'm a splash old to have watched Mr. Rogers as a toddler. although, I keep in mind Captain Kangaroo properly from his Saturday morning tutor. (Saturday morning in my section did no longer have distinctive cartoons. those have been shown weekdays for an hour or one million/2 hour in the previous the information.) I keep in mind the topic track interior the commencing up, and how the captain might provide up it by making use of throwing his keys on a peg.

yep. remember it well. such pure, classic, real, innocent humor for when we in our 30's were kids. That stuff would never last these days.
I liked the cartoons about the Simon kid who would draw. And Mr. Green Jeans rocked in his own way, too.
But i always thought the cap'n's jacket was funny - with all those outlined pockets. Anyway....will never forget it.

Indeed I do remember him! However, I didn't even know they had a DVD of him. I'm sorry I cannot help here but, I wish you luck finding this!
