that if it had not been such an uproar about paris being released early b/c of her illness/or it was too uncomfortable she would have still been on house arrest?

I think the judge in the case still would have been upset that his sentence was not being upheld.
Public outcry or not.

It's like nurses not carrying out a doctor's order.
When nurses have an issue come up with a patient that question a doctor's order, they have to contact the doctor.

In this case the Sheriff's Office did not contact the judge.
Poor judgment by the SO.

Paris get some fortitude!

No I don’t think so, the judge specifically said when he sentenced her the first time that she was not going to be allowed to serve it out at home. The illness was a copout if she was ill why did they send her home, instead to some medical facility?

Now she has to stay there pretty much all summer when she would have had just a little over 3 weeks.

Yes you are right ! Love Paris but if you do wrong than you should be women enough to take what is given to you. Not fake an illness. But if we wouldnt have known she was out she would be at home wacthing the simple life.

Yes, of course. That would be wrong to just release her and not continue with the charge. In her case, they compensated and brought the time back to the original 45 days instead of the 23 'in jail'.

She would have been picked up when they realized the judge had ordered no early release. How that escaped the sheriff's knowledge wasn't said.

of course it matters...but the fact is, it is so outrageous that she was released that there was bound to be an uproar no matter what...all i can say is good for her, put her back in, and throw away the key so we don't have to hear about her anymore

No. I'd like to believe that no matter what the circumstances, the judge would have been just as upset about it. Regardless of the media attention.

No - it has been patently clear that her 'house arrest' was done WITHOUT the Judge's consent.
