it wont rust because rust is IRON OXIDE so if its pure silver it wont have any iron in it (BTW if it does rust someone lied to you LOL) it will tarnish though

Its fine. It will not rust. I always leave mine on in the shower. I also leave it on when I swim at the beach. I only take it off to clean it every now and then. It will get dirty, but you can get any kind of silver cleaner at wal-mart or jewelery store.

Real silver will not rust. It can dull, tarnish, pit but not rust. Only the fake stuff will rust.

silver does not rust. it can tarnish or pitt. pitting can come from chemicals that are in the water. it's usually safe to wear silver in the shower.

It oxidizes and may pit but doesnt technically rust since it is non -ferrous metal. Showering wont hurt it especially if it is solid silver.

if its a cheap silver, it will tarnish.. if its good sterling silver it should be fine.. if you look on the clasp (in most cases it on the clasp part) or somewhere on a solid piece...good sterling silver will have the numbers 925 etched into it (very tiny writing) i own a jewlery store)
