Car runs rough when giving it gas. It acts like it is cutting out and coming back on really fast, but intermittently. checked plugs and they are perfect. Took gas line off of carb to check inline filter and it is clear. However, the gas they came out of the line had alot of bubbles in it. It bubled out like the fiz on pop when you pour it into a galss. What could cause this and do you think that is the problem?

The car is a 1966 Ford Mustang with a 1995 Mustang G.T. block that is bored and stroked to a 347. Complete roller valve train, edelbrock heads, intake, and carb. There was no eccentric for a mechanical fuel pump so had to go with electric pump. Pump set up has no return line. Gas tank, sending unit, fuel pump, and gas line all of the way to the carb, about 1 year old. P.S. The car is black with a black interior!

Sounds like a bad fuel Pump check to see if you have gas in your oil.

Could be just a coincidence. Your car is 8 (model) years old and average miles on a car that old is in excess of 100,000 miles. That's when a LOT of problems start happening. If you've never had the fuel pump replaced, have the fuel pressure checked because that's a lot of miles for an original factory fuel pump.

Older car?
Carburated?
Mechanical or in-line fuel pump?

Your fuel lines to the tank are old and cracked and sucking air through them.

Replace your fuel lines......

Oh, you updated your question, so that shoots my theory to hell.....
