After reading the latest story of Ms Hiltons outburst in court today, I winder if she has truly fourn her motivation and now can actually act. (statement or question...hmm...lit'l bit o' both).
I like the discription of he appearance, and her lame attempt to get Mommy to help her out ("she mouthed the words I love you, while looking over at her Mother"). Screaming at the judge on her way out of court "how unfair she was being treated" she is now to face her complete 45 day sentence.
The statement that Sheriff made regarding her "unspecified illness" and how "it's best not to leave a person in that condition locked up" (or words to that effect), tends to lead me to believe that Ms Hilton may have more of a substance abuse problem than an actual medical condition. A correctional medical facility will not give you the substance that you crave (ie alcohol or illegal drugs) if that's your "medical condition".
no sympathy for a 26 year old, that's what I say.

Ms Hilton should understand she is not getting punished for what she did. She is being punished because she got caught. The thing that is not fair is that she has probably done this same thing before without any consequence at all.
She should take this time to reflect what would have happend to her had she hit someone and killed them. I had a friend in Paramount, CA. Riding his motorcycle home from work (about 10 or 11pm at night). He was broadsided by a drunk driver that ran the light, and killed instantly.
Show some respect Ms Hilton. Men and Women your age are putting their lives on the line right for you, for your freedom to choose the right way to act. The only thing you got going on now is you are a famous criminal, do the time and put a sock in it.

One more thing, I am a former Correctional Peace Officer, and to Ms Hilton I would say "You ain't got nothin' commin'." Give her, her issue and move on down the tier. Thats what you get when you are incarcerated. Being in Jail is the punishment. I have no sympathy for anyone that drinks and drives. I am a professional Trucker, I have seen the raveges of DUI on the hiways of the America. Ms Hilton has nothin comin'. You know what a professional driver, a law enforcement officer, a front line soldier has to do to earn $50K, according to some reports that's all Ms Hilton (and other famous socialites) has to do is go to a party, or an awards show, or a banquet.
So no I don't have any sympathy for her, not at all. Like Ben Parker said "With great power, comes great responsibility". How many of our young girls look up to this person and want to be like her. She needs to live a better example.

Absolutely. I'd say her acting skills are just at par with my 3-year old niece (Grace). Whenever Grace gets caught doing something naughty, she gets a time out. The following things are what she will try to get out of it:
1. false apologies
2. crying
3. sympathy ploys
4. being suddenly good and adorable
5. blaming it on someone else
6. saying "I love you"
7. temper tantrum
8. claiming someone told her it was ok to do that
9. claiming she didn't know any better
10. saying she won't do it "ever again"
There are many, many more, but you get the jist. If ever I met Ms. Hilton, I'd tell her the same thing I tell Grace; "I'm. NOT. Falling. For. That."
SHe's a spoiled millionaire princess who thought she could get away with everything and anything because of her daddy's money. She isn't being singled out, this is the same protocol they would follow if anybody did what she did. Don't do the crime if you can't pay the time."
I'll save my empathy for the real victims of the world.

Paris Hilton is the epitome of everything that is wrong with the world today. She's famous only because of her G'pa Conrad, and because of the Hilton-Rick Saloman sex tape. Her music is crap, and just another marketing ploy to help her rake in the cash. Not to mention that she's dumber than a rake; it wouldn't surprise me if she dropped out of the 3rd grade. She's famous only because people want her to be. It's great to have a role model, but you could pick a much better one.

Hey when you have the money that her Daddy has, you can hire an acting coach to teach you how to be stupid and make people this your depressed and in fear of your life!
Shes gotten a away with batting her eyes and getting what she wants. Shes just glossed over white trash! If she were in someone Else's shoes and facing the same jail time, you'd be setting there NO matter what your lawyer said to the judge!
I agree with you! She needs to do her time and do it with a SMILE on her face!

I think the crying was probably real-wouldn't most cry if they were going from a multimillion dollar mansion with servants, catered meals, personal hairdressers, and such to a jail cell shared by at least one other person, a diet of whatever is served, and no personal servants . My gosh she will even have to comb her own hair!!!!!!! What a horrible thing to do to such a pampered princess.
Hopefully she will learn a lesson about drinking and driving if nothing else. I agree-do the crime -do the time and don't whine about it.

To be honest with you I think there had to be some type of exchange of money for her to be let out so swiftly. Of course she thinks it's unfair, because her and her family are now seeing that money cannot buy you everything, and you use it to skirt the laws for only so long. I'm sure it is possible that she can act, after all, you can train animals to...

I have to agree with ya here. Apparently she (and her family?) don't believe she should have to face the consequences of her actions. I am SO sick of seeing her face in the news. As if it WAS news!
Grow up, young lady. Take your medicine and get it over with and get on with your life. Don't whine and complain that you are being treated unfairly. Sounds like my 6-year-old.

no sympathy.
the unspecified "medical" condition may have also meant the sheriff was enticed (use your imagination) to speak on her behalf (a guess made solely by your comments. I have not followed the "story").
