An act of parliament was passed to subordinate UK law passed by parliament to EC laws which are imposed by EC civil servants who are not answerable to EC parliament who can onlt discuss matters and withhold the budget. I ask if it is unconstutional but ----- is it something worse

We also have the right to opt out or withdraw from the EC. If we did we would would have 'true sovereignty' once again, we could enforce and reject laws as we pleased at Westminster and a pro-active UK Constitution will exist once more.

The point here is, euro lapdogs, insist that the membership of the EC doesn't effect our constitution because if we vote to leave, we can do so. mmm...What a deal.... sorry about the sarcasm if your a euro pusher.

They think its fine to take all our power away from Westminster, only because our power hasn't been forced away from us. If we agree to stay, we agree to take what they have to throw at us!!!

Lets get the hell away from the nanny system is what I say, We are a hard working nation and proud, we don't need to give up our old constitutional rights. What ever happened to tradition. I want to see happy British once again, and I'm sure many others do.

First, the UK does have a constitution its just not written down in one single document.

Secondly the 1972 Act was examined by the English Courts in the ex p Rees-Mogg case and the courts found that Parliament was entitled to pass such a law (unsurprisingly given Parliamentary Sovereignty).

Thirdly given that Parliament could legislate at any time for the UK to leave the EU why do you think it is unconstitutional? Just because none of the major parties would do it doesn't mean that they couldn't or won't in the future.

Fourthly, remember that the UK MEPs have just as much say (if not more) on the legislation passed by the European Parliament. I'd be interested to know of any *laws* that were created by civil servants without the Parliament having a role - examples would assist.
