I think I'd probably go with Eyes Wide Shut. I know a lot of people hated it, but I really was inspired by it. The pacing is wonderful, and Nicole Kidman's acting is amazing. I've never felt more uncomfortable in a theater to tell the truth. If you haven't yet gotten a chance, I'd recommend checking out the Killing. It's a nice, short little noir thriller from his early days. I think my second favorite would have to be Full Metal Jacket. I don't think anyone will ever match the intensity of the basic training sequence. It's like two films in one.

Is there a bad Kubrick movie?
Clockwork Orange is great, but I think I have to go Full Metal Jacket.

I agree with Dr. Strangelove. It has my all-time favorite movie line. Gentlemen! You can't fight in here, this is the war room!
