New millennium metal isn't all that great. Slipknot is terrible, there are some good ones though.

The best metal comes from the 80's and 90's Pantera has some good stuff with a nice fresh sound. Go out and buy or download the CD Vulgar Display of Power it's the **** or if you want something really heavy get The Great Southern Trend Kill. You'll be head banging till your damn head falls off.

For some seriously violent hard core neck breaking head bangin' rock n' roll pwnage, it has to be Job for a cowboy - Entombment of a machine.

Also Dope - Die motherf.ucker die, great to workout to.

That or Napalm death - The silence is deafening. Those bands make all others seem like washing up luqid compared to some seriously exxxplozive jungle juice, lulz.

Well...I'm a maggot myself and one of the best Headbanging songs from them would be:
(SIC)
Disasterpeice
People = Sh!t
The Blister Exist
Surfacing
just to name a few.

Also Battery from Metallica is a good song.
To Ashes by Shadows Fall

I hope this helps you!
