Unfortunately the people that created that spoiled little brat won't be in lockup with her. I think that her parents should be locked up for child abuse.

Of course, she stay there, for the reality TV show named "The Prison Life" or something like that.
Paris is actually quite adaptable to any enviroment, she was just ordered to play the role of a girl who can't live without support. Really, you can drop Paris in the middle of a desert and she probably will live nicely.
Personally, I think that they are paying to put Paris into jail and NOT the other way around. Just think for a moment, do you really want to put Paris in a jail? Especially for the crimes she did? Think hard, you need to provide for her meals, accomodation, people to guard her, etc. As matter in fact, it's no different than her regular lifestyle, only that it's the government that's paying!
Will Paris learned her 'lessons' after 45 days? Not likely.
Will Paris suffer in prison? Not likely.
So what purpose to put her there? Very likely it's to make people fight each other by arguing with each other and to implant the idea that rich people especially the Paris kind should suffer in prison.
As for the whole crying girl in court drama scene.
People have seen that scene before with Schapelle Corby, only the communistic mass media potrayed her 'punishment' as undeserving in comparison to Paris'.
But Corby get roughly the same treatment, however in a photo op scene she was ordered to dress up first to look miserable.
As for the Sheriff's payment.
It's more likely that the Sheriff release her because he didn't received any payment or wasn't paid enough.
Please, her family is smart enough, they would first make the whole prison into a Hilton first before paying someone to release her.
As for Martha Stewart.
She did house arrest, why not Paris?

Lack of raising/rearing.
Paris needed to be taught in a way that would have given her more fortitude.
What is the big deal? So you sit 45 days in jail.
Read some books by people who were jailed when they were innocent...for decades.... and learn something Paris.
It's not like you're going to go without food and shelter. Sheesh.
Paris, thank your lucky stars or better yet, GOD, that you didn't kill anyone when you drove under the influence.
Try to use the time for self-reflection and reading, and maybe some journaling, but for heaven's sake woman, GROW UP.
I think her ?grandfather or great-grandfather that made Hiltons what they are, is rolling over in his grave.
Club Paris has a different meaning now.
Remember Noah had to deal with 40 days and 40 nights of rain, yes? Big Whoop, Paris, honey. Could be worse...Imagine Turkish prison.

I hope so, she deserves every second in jail...maybe she will finally mature (i doubt it though) More than likely, she will probably find a way out by next week.
you also brought up an interesting point...Lee Baca (sheriff of LA County) Should have had no true reason to let her out due to a medical condition, i have heard of people with Pneumonia, bad heart, strokes, and other worse medical conditions stay in jail for what they did. I think you are right; The sheriff or LA County may be getting a big campaign contribution from the Hilton clan...

I think that the judge is making her being the perfect example that it not going to matter who you are when it comes to crimes. I am getting tired of hearing the celebrities getting away with ish. I think she got what she deserve. Sad to hear that the media is making it sound like its a harsh sentence. They are thousand of average people in jail with sicknesses and you dont see them getting release with house arrest. If she is that sick she can get treated like everyone else behind bars. Justice on Paris Hilton has been served.

She'll stay. That judge will make sure of it. Lee Baca should have to answer to this, though. He made a mess of the situation, both for the city of Los Angeles and for Hilton herself. And, I agree with you - mommy and daddy definitely tried to pull some strings. In the end, it backfired. What morons. They should have raised their child to respect the law and she wouldn't be in this mess, as opposed to trying to blame Paris's current situation on celebrity haters.

I'm GLAD she's going back to jail. There was no evidence supporting the "medical condition" she was supposedly let out for. That judge showed HE'S the boss!
I HOPE she stays there this time. I think every time she, her family or attorneys pull someting to get her out they should add time to her sentence. Just think. It's currently 40 days. Imagine what it could be with each objection or appeal. *satisfied smirk*

No, she's not getting out early this time. I think they've learned from the massive amounts of public outrage. Hopefully it'll teach the rest of these celebrities a lesson.
