I don't agree that NASA wouldn't WANT to go to Uranus. it is more likely that it is a question of priorities.

Uranus is a gas giant planet, but there are closer gas giants to study.

Saturn is a closer gas giant, plus it has the ring system and some interesting moons. Going to Saturn before Uranus seems sensible.

NASA has no plans to go to Uranus again. It was visited once by Voyager and there are no plans to visit it again. It is just too far away and not as interesting as other places, like Mars or Saturn.

They wouldn't be able to due to it is to far for the ship to reach. It takes 7 years to reach Uranus.
