Look, I'm a Bush supporter in general, mostly due to his handling of the tax cuts and economy, but there is no way I'd hang that title of "greatest president ever" on Bush.

In fact, he has a very mixed record as president:

Pros:
1. His economic program, including the tax cuts, revved up the economy after inheriting a tanking economy and then getting hit with 9/11 soon afterwards.

2. His handling of the aftermath of 9/11 was excellent. Going after the terrorists and those who support them was great. This includes invading Afghanistan. Other programs prosecuting the war on terror have been good too.

3. He passed his Education reforms, as he campaigned.

4. He passed a senior prescription drug benefit, as he campaigned.

Cons:
1. Iraq. Had us needlessly invade a troublesome country based on poor intelligence and groupthink. His handling of most of the war has been poor too. Due to the lives lost and expense involved, this will seriously ruin his historical legacy.

2. His senior prescription drug benefit will cost trillions.

3. Has not cut non-defense spending. In fact, it's gone up at a high rate.

4. He is pushing for near amnesty for millions of illegal aliens.

5. He botched Social Security Reform.

In some ways he's pretty good and in some ways he is crap.
Overall he is middle of the road. However because he is a globalist he sucks almost as much as Clinton.Clinton was worse to me though because he was so rabid about trying to take away our rights as fast as he could and give away our sovereignty as fast as he could.I think they're all nuts.
