Yep. They'll have a white tip. It'll take a semi-rough surface though, like you couldn't strike it on jello. :)

Old fashion "kitchen" matches will light on most rough surfaces. You can actually light them with a quick flick of a thumbnail. Most stores carry them.

yeah but you cant strike them on "anything" just rough stuff
the ones ive seen have white tips

Yes they are at Walmarts in the kitchen gadget isle.3 boxes for about 90 cents....

The ones i use are blue tipped ones.Ace Hardware has them.
