You are not alone. I suspect when the judge is up for reelection he will also realize that she is not alone as he is swiftly and overwhelmingly voted out of office.
I am not saying that she did not violate the law. However, we have taken to the idea of punishment and forgotten the idea of justice. The justice system was created to reform criminals into productive (and tax paying) citizens not to punish criminals so they come out bitter at society and more dedicated to a life outside of society rules.
A little thought and imagination on this judges part would have resulted in something like Paris attending MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) meetings, maybe some advertisements for them and using her fame to bring attention to the problem of driving drunk and making it uncool.
This would educate Paris, reduce a societal problem, and save lives. It seems more inportant though that the judge be able to exercise his authority and punish Paris then it is to save lives and reduce crime.
Please keep speaking out.

If it were unjustified and unfair maybe more people would, but she is a public figure, a terrible role model, a party animal, an irresponsible driver who drives under the influence, a spoiled brat, a snotty adult, a person who has squandered her life and her time on frivolities when she could do otherwise.
Nothing personal against her, but she has to learn that just being PH does not grant her special privileges, and that she should not try to pull the wool over the judge's eyes.

The hatred is well deserved.
Anyone who believes they can endanger the lives of others anytime they want without regard deserves to be hated.
Anyone who believes that they can flout thelaw simply because they are rich and famous deserves to be hated.
I didnt care one way or the other until she pulled this crap - now I hate her simply because she has shown herself to be nothing more than a spoiled little girld who thiks she is above the law and better than everyone else.
She drove drunk - she endangered the lives of every person on the road that night and then has the nerve to complain that she is being prosecuted for breaking the law.

You have to examine your own reasons for rooting for her. She is the absolute worst of wealthy and privelage in this country. She uses racial slurs, drugs and drinks heavily, is not a law abiding citizen and acts like a baby when she's forced to pay the penalty. Why do you root for her - because she's young, blonde and cute? Hopefully, Paris is now learning that the world is NOT rooting for her and that she needs to check herself before she wrecks herself.

i personally have nothing against her, but she is getting special treatment. She spent 5 days in jail and then got out because she had a 'mental breakdown'. but the judge sentenced her back to jail. just because she is a celebrity (i dont no why, she didnt do anything before the simple life) she is getting special treatment. She could have killed someone. if it was anybody else u probably would be rooting for them to go to jail. imagine if she would have killed someone. would you still be rooting for her to get out? i dont think that you would. what if she killed a member of your family. think about it before you say that you want her out of jail.

LOL, probably not. Too many Americans believe that we should have an elite class that should tell us what we should know, who we should worship, and everything else we should be able to do in life. No one is above the law, except OJ, anyway. If she was black and rich she would already be out.

Why are you rooting for her? She broke the law dummy, why should celebrities get special treatment? She broke the law 3 times, maybe now she will learn her lesson, anyone else who break probation like this gets the same sentence, actually less and so should she, celebrities should be held accountable for their actions just like you or I. If she ran someone over and killed them driving drunk would you still be rooting for her? If she doesnt learn her lesson it is only a matter of time before she kills someone, stop her now.

You might be. She broke the law. Then she broke the law again. Then she broke the law AGAIN. If it were you, you'd be in jail right now. It is a simple matter of justice and fairness. That is why so many people are so ticked off.

If that was you or me in jail do you think we would have gotten out???
She needs to do her time. And if I were the judge I would have sent her to the state jail. The hell with the county.
