The other links that people have posted are great. However, http://www.xdrrive.com offers 5 GB account for free. Just create your account, upload file, and then select "send file", type in your friend's email and it will send him a link to download the file. I think that will be good. Plus these accounts on Xdrive are very good.

There are a number of services to do this for free

The best one is a service called Pando

http://www.pando.com/

works windows 2000 /xp and macs

Your friend has to install the program
hotmail labels the link file sent as a virus - just use yahoo mail

worst service is a service called you send it

http://www.yousendit.com/

used to be good
they tried to charge and change the rules every day - and would not tell your the rules until you uploaded the large file then they wanted money

stupid idiotic mangagement
Now i get emails every couple days of " we went you back"
screw off

Pando is very well laid out
It uses a one purpose easy to use variant of bittorent
You can start and stop the upload and download
You can send whole large files such as music or others to up to 10 people at once and the more that have it the faster the download.
Very well thought out product . Easy to use

Yousendit.com should work fine. You can send files of up to 100 MB without having to get a paid membership, so for an 80 MB video you're good to go.

Well, you might want to check out Filefront. Free unlimited storage. Upload your files there and then they will be able to download it.

You can also send files using Netmeeting which is part of Windows. If you can't find the icon, click Start --> Run --> Conf -->OK.

Can you give it to him on a blank disk, that would work. Or put the file on your MP3 player, and hook it up to your friends computer. OR, look online and try to find a file sharing website lime dot mac, and i think google has one. Please vote. thanks

Lol, go to http://youtube.com or http://video.yahoo.com or http://google.video.com or some other website

you can upload videos there, I recommend google or yahoo, cause you can post videos over 10 minutes there, unlike youtube
