How much do they cost? I've tried looking on the railway companies websites, but that appears to have been a bit of a dumb thing to do... Does anyone know the cost???

You don't say whether you need a Travelcard (including the Underground, Buses, DLR, etc) or just the train, so I'll give prices for both.

NB: The Travelcard options cover all six zones, as you travel through all six en route.

Weekly: £72.20 (Rail Only), £86.50 (Travelcard)
Monthly: £277.30 (Rail Only), £332.20 (Travelcard)
3 Months: £831.80 (Rail Only), £996.50 (Travelcard)
6 Months: £1663.50 (Rail Only), £1993 (Travelcard)
Annual: £2888 (Rail Only), £3460 (Travelcard)

The above fares are all for Standard Class travel.

Too bloody much, that's how much. And if you complain, you might as well not bother. And don't expect to get a seat or be on time either. And watch out for all the suitcases of the people coming from their Easyjet holidays.
