Assuming you would be beautiful with average intelligence, or intelligent with average looks.

Why?

When I say "be" I actually mean be. Not be with. If you yourself were turned into a woman, which would you rather be?

liontamer- I want to hear everyone's opinion. As long as no one is insulting anyone else, I am cool with them.

EDITED
Hmm so I could lose my intelligence? Damn...

My answer still stands, it really wouldn't matter to me...
I think I'd choose intelligent with average looks.

EDIT
After reading Rob's answer, I decided to change mine too lol. I'd choose beautiful with average looks instead (I could also get out of parking tickets that way too).

i've already had the experience of being pretty smart and average looking. so if i could experience it again, i'd want it as someone different: beautiful and of average intelligence.

beauty doesn't guarantee getting a free ride. it can be a huge liability as it's always "on." both men and women can feel threatened by beautiful women. being intelligent can be much more easily hid by playing dumb. even still, i'm up for the challenge of having a unique experience.

Though my intelligence would be just "average," I think it could be expressed in other indirect ways such as wisdom, prudence and insight. Beauty is sometimes related to charisma. A charismatic personality would be more effective in many group and social situations.

I'm a former dungeons & dragons player, and in-game, there are separate ability scores for Intelligence, wisdom, and charisma.

INT: Intelligence is similar to IQ, but also includes mnemonic ability, reasoning and learning ability outside those measured by the written word. Intelligence dictates the number of languages a character can learn and the number of spells a Wizard may know.

WIS: Wisdom is a composite term for the characters enlightenment, judgement, wile, willpower and intuitiveness.

Charisma (CHA): Charisma is the measure of the character's combined physical attractiveness, persuasiveness, and personal magnetism. A generally non-beautiful character can have a very high charisma due to strong measures of the other two aspects of charisma.

All stats are useful and important.

NO NO NO.

I would DEFINITELY be a beautiful woman with average intelligence.

Do people ever think about the burden that intelligence brings upon an individual?

Seriously. Think about it, all of you who said you would rather be intelligent.

Life is FAR too short to have to worry about crises, concepts, and theories all day.

Imagine what it would be like to think about everyday things all the time AND to be attractive to many people.

Sorry, if I were a woman, I would take it easy. I choose beautiful with average intelligence (besides, average intelligence isn't all that bad).

At the risk of sounding like the average guy.....You can send a pretty girl to school, but there is not enough money to fix ugly. I have dated both typs in my lifetime, one who was drop dea beautiful but dumb as a box of rocks and I could not stand it, I was actually embarassed to take her out in public other than a party for fear she would actually try to have a conversation with someone I knew, another was the Band Camp MENSA type but she was too much of a do nothing. Actually her personality and the way she carries herself is what makes the difference, self confidence is key. My wife now is a beautiful woman with a great body, pretty smart (most of the time :-) ) has the greatest personality and is really outgoing, that to me is what really matters more than anything.

I suppose some men are simply because they feel that if a woman is great looking and smarter than them, then the men feel that they simply aren't going to have many qualities to win the woman over. In short, they might feel that she's too good for them. That being said, in my experience, a vast majority of men are not at all intimidated by beautiful and/or intelligent women. Typically a guy will initially talk to a woman purely because of looks, and then gauge her personality/characteristics beyond that and make a decision on her. I don't buy into the notion that a girl is ever "too hot" for a guy - she isn't "too hot" for him - she just doesn't appear to be interested in him, so he doesn't bother with it. Being perfectly honest, when a woman proclaims that she can't find a guy because she's "too good looking" or "too smart" for them, there is no way to justify that statement not being arrogant. It's just an arrogant statement. Think about what that person is claiming - they are soooo wonderful that men just feel like it'd be impossible to measure up to them, and that's why no one ever wants to date them. Yup, that sounds right - every guy thinks to himself, wow, if only that girl were a bit dumber and uglier, I may just ask her out... In my experience, the women I know who have said things like this typically are people I believe need to be knocked down a few notches - They think entirely too highly of themselves, and (again, this is just in my experience) are really very average-ish looking and while smart, by no means are they going to scare off a man because of it. In fact, I think they might be a bit insecure themselves - they need to say "I'm too smart and pretty, so boys are intimidated" to their girlfriends, who will reassure them that's why they're single, and it's not because of their impossible standards, inflated sense of theirself, or their overall inability to have a conversation with a guy.

It's the same thing, even if you are intelligent or beautiful. Just the time when you experience them differs.
What do I mean by that?
Young beautiful women get invites to go in foreign countries, just because they look good.
So the enjoy life when they are young.
Intelligent women enjoy life later. When they get enough money to travel and have fun. So basically, it's the same ting.

if you pick beautiful then your life is over by the time you are 40.....intelligence means you will be able to amuse yourself after that time!! Anyway being beautiful means that some people dont take you seriously and men treat you like an object---I know that its not a personal compliment when man finds me attractive, in fact most of time I would rather men did not let it be known to me by blatant looks or horn honking etc. becuase i know its nothing to do with who I am or what Im like but makes me feel that its all they care about.

Answering on behalf of teh womenz: If I had to choose between the two, I would definitely pick intelligence. A pretty face doesn't pay the bills.
