I sadly missed 97% of the game last night, and I came in right before the half and saw that the leader of the cavs, Lebron, had only 4 pts. but the rest of the team had ok numbers, and Tony Parker was talking but I really coundn't understand him. He said something like "we a stopping lebron, we just need to stop the rest of the team", not those exact words, but same meaning. What happened in that game? How did they stop king james? From what little I saw the spurs did not seem to be stopping him, lebron was just missing everything, but I could be wrong becuase I missed most of the game. Will someone please enlighten me?

Some of you are hating on Lebron and it's pathetic.
He is not overrated and he has had only 1 bad game this series so far, like he does in every series and some of you guys act as though the cavs have already lost the series, you can't judge a player or team by 1 game in a series, the NBA has 7 games for a reason. Tim duncan/tp/BRUCE BOWEN have all had bad games before, particularly against the cavs, are they overrated? Stop being biased and be reasonable. I asked for answers on how lebron was shutdown in game 1 last night. I didn't ask your opinion on how overrated/bad/etc. lebron is to you. Take that bitterness to someone who would actually want to hear it. Becuase I don't. Thanks.

i love Detroit tigers girl... "everyone played good yesturday on the Cavs... if they were a one person team... then the spurs should have won by 25 to 30 points... but since LeBron isn't a one person team... they only won by 9....and GO INDIANS!

You missed the Posterize of Tim Duncan blocking Lebron point blank in the first quarter and Bruce Bowen just locking down the defense on him in the first half. It was amazing. Your "King" had no Field Goals in the 1st half..just Free Throws. It was awesome. Once again the Cavs fans answer with the "if" game....if the Spurs hit their shots they normally hit in the 2nd quarter they blow the Cavs out. If...If...If... we can play that game on both sides.

LeBron was getting double teamed, even triple teamed all night. He was making the right plays by passing the ball out to the open guys, but sadly they just missed. This series will not be controlled by LeBron, because the Spurs know if they contain him, the other guys have to step up. They will continue this ruthless defense on him, and hope people like Hughes and Gibson miss their shots.

shortstuff, your funny.
Play the "IF" game all you want. Does anyone ever shoot 100% in a game? San Antonio had an off night too, thats a scary thought huh? If you count on just 1 player to carry you you have a lot to learn. Both teams were rusty on their shots after that long break before the finals started. This will go no more than 5 games, Cleveland is way in over their heads, and they know that now.

If Le Bron had made ALL the shots he MISSED, the Cavs could have easily beat the Spurs last night. Hopefully, he'll play better next game.

LeBron got taken to school by Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and in particular, Bruce Bowen, who was defending him...Bowen shut his Kingdom down...LeBron is overrated, and the world saw it last night...The media got taken to school as well, since he is so overhyped, its pathetic...

He had a off-day, because Bruce Bowen wasn't playing his normal tight defense.
