if you want one that's close to the Rex try either the Holiday Inn Express high street/carpenters road or the Ibis on the corner of the grove / romford road other than these two which are within walking distance theres not much choice unless you go further into the docklands area and get a connecting train into stratford station which would still only be a short walk

well, I don't think there are good hotels there, so try premier inn, or travelodge...
